Specialist lender Together has promoted Chris Adams to the role of chief financial officer (CFO) with immediate effect.

Adams initially joined Together as head of financial reporting in 2017 before being promoted to group financial controller followed by becoming director of the division. His appointment to the CFO role also sees him join the group’s board of directors.

Together said that the internal promotion demonstrates its commitment to “developing talent from within the business”.

Prior to Together, Adams held positions at the Co-op Bank and Deloitte where he qualified as a chartered accountant and gained experience in financial services audit, M&A and securitisations in both the UK and Australia.

He commented: “Together has a special culture that provides opportunities to both customers and colleagues to realise their ambitions. I am really excited to be taking on this new role at Together and look forward to contributing to the next stage of the group’s growth journey.”
