Direct Line has announced the appointment of Jane Poole as the insurance group’s new chief financial officer (CFO).

Poole has been appointed to the board as an executive director with immediate effect and will also join the board's investment committee.

Direct Line confirmed that Poole is succeeding Neil Manser, who has ceased to be CFO and an executive director, also with effect from today.
