Salman Mohammed has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) at CT Automotive, starting with immediate effect.
He has joined the board, succeeding Anna Brown, who is stepping down from the role on 31 October. She has agreed to remain as a board and finance adviser until 31 December as part of a handover.
Mohammed joined CT Automotive, a designer, developer and supplier of interior automotive components, as group finance director in October 2023.
He has experience in commercial and finance positions, having worked in senior finance leadership roles at UK listed companies and private equity owned US companies.
Prior to joining CT Automotive, he spent six years at Zotefoams as group financial controller and finance business partner.
Chairman at CT Automotive, Raymond Bench, said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Brown for continuing to support the business and to welcome Mohammed to his new role as CFO.
"Naturally, we know him well already and over the last twelve months he has shown he has the requisite skills and knowledge to be a key part of our leadership team. I look forward to working closely with Mohammed as the business focuses on delivering on the expected step changes in revenue growth coming over the next two years."
