The chief financial officer (CFO) at ZOO Digital Group, Phillip Blundell, has announced that he is to step down from the role to "pursue other opportunities".
Blundell will remain in the role and on the board of the cloud-based localisation and digital media services provider to the global entertainment industry until the summer of 2025 to oversee the results of the 2025 financial year, while also ensuring an orderly transition.
The company stated that it is initiating a process to appoint a successor and will update the market in "due course".
Chairman at ZOO Digital, Gillian Wilmot, said: "The board would like to thank Blundell for his contribution to ZOO over the past six years. He has played an important role in the growth of the business and, more recently, its response to a period of unprecedented disruption across the industry. Blundell leaves ZOO in a strong position to deliver profitable growth as the recovery in TV and film production gains momentum. We wish him the best for the future."
Blundell concluded: "It has been a pleasure to work with the team at ZOO and I am proud of the achievements of the finance function in supporting the internationalisation of the business and strengthening the finance function. I will work with the team at ZOO to ensure an orderly transition with my successor. I wish the group every success in the future."
