TT Electronics has appointed Richard Webb as its interim chief financial officer (CFO).

Webb was most recently group CFO at Ultra Electronics, where he worked for 12 years, including when it was a constituent of the FTSE 250.

He began his career at Deloitte, where he qualified as a chartered accountant.

TT Electronics said that Webb has a "proven track record" of driving organic growth, change initiative and cost efficiencies.

Acting chief executive officer at TT Electronics, Eric Lakin, said: "I am delighted to announce Webb's appointment and warmly welcome him to TT. Webb's experience and expertise in our sector and markets will be invaluable in driving performance in our business."
