Ibstock has appointed Simon Bedford as its interim chief financial officer (CFO).
The announcement follows the resignation of Chris McLeish, who announced on 30 April that he was leaving the role at the building products manufacturer.
Bedford will start in the role from 10 October, when McLeish leaves the business.
He is currently serving as group financial controller at Ibstock, having been at the business since June 2020. Prior to joining the building products manufacturer, he worked in a number of senior roles at Rolls Royce over the course of 19 years.
Bedford will continue in the role of interim CFO until a successor has been found. Ibstock stated that it will continue with the recruitment process and will update the market as soon as a decision has been made.
