TBC Bank Group has appointed Guy Stevens as its new group chief financial officer (CFO), effective from 13 July.
He has joined the Georgian-headquartered bank, which is listed on the FTSE 250, with almost 30 years of corporate finance experience in the financial institutions sector.
Stevens has held senior roles at, amongst other, UBS Investment Bank, Deloitte Corporate Finance and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, advising banks and other financial services companies across EMEA of a range of strategic and capital markets transactions.
His appointment comes after the firm’s current CFO, Giorgi Megrelishvili, announced that he will step down from the role from 1 August.

His deep experience across financial institutions and capital markets, combined with his understanding of our business, will be instrumental as we continue to execute on our strategy and pursue further growth opportunities.
"I would also like to thank Giorgi for his contribution to the group and wish him every success in the future."
