Franchise Brands appoints new CFO

Neil Miller has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) at the international B2B platform, Franchise Brands.

He brings more than 30 years’ experience across listed, private equity and blue-chip multinational businesses spanning industrial and manufacturing sectors and fast-moving consumer goods.

Miller joins from Praesidiad, where he served as CFO, and has also FTSE 100 and 250 public markets experience from senior finance at DS Smith and De La Rue, which built on previous finance experience at Diageo and Mars.

He replaces Andrew Mallows, who has held the role of CFO since June 2024 and is taking on the newly created role of group delivery director.

Executive chairman at Franchise Brands, Stephen Hemsley, stated: "I am delighted we have attracted a new CFO of Neil Miller's calibre. One of Franchise Brands' key strategic priorities is to capitalise on the two-year long, multi-million-pound, investment we have made in IT and integrating our three significant acquisitions.

"The appointment of a new CFO with a strong background in value creation and finance transformation will provide experience and focus in this area, whilst allowing Andrew to drive the more commercial benefits of Group-wide integration. Together with the broader leadership team, Neil and Andrew will play a key role in completing and realising the benefits of our B2B franchise platform which will be the cornerstone of our future organic and acquisitive growth."
