Computacenter has appointed Keith Mortimer as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective from 1 September.
He joined the FTSE 250 technology and services provider in 1999 and has held senior finance and commercial roles in this time, most recently serving as director of group commercial finance.
In these roles, Mortimer played a role in developing how the firm financially forecasts and manages the business. He also brings systems and people experience to the role, acquired through implementing the group’s group ERP systems and group operating model.
Prior to joining Computacenter, he trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Anderson in London.
Chief executive officer at Computacenter, Mike Norris, said: "I look forward to working even more closely with Keith, as he takes up the position of CFO. His detailed knowledge of the business from end to end will be invaluable in helping us achieve our growth ambitions for the business, particularly as we continue to make significant investment in our systems, tools and processes to enhance both our operating efficiency and the customer experience."
