Tribal Group enjoys H1 earnings and revenue growth

Tribal Group has reported a 5.5% rise in annual recurring revenue (ARR) to £59.9m in its opening half results.

The education software provider also enjoyed an 18.4% jump in adjusted earnings to £8.3m in H1.

Tribal, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business for education markets in 55 countries, was reporting its results for the six months to 30 June. The group said its H1 period had been defined by a “healthy trading performance”, with both earnings and revenue growth in line with its board’s expectations.

In the time since 30 June, Tribal also revealed it had signed a further £4m worth of new business, with London South Bank University and Durham University, for the implementation of new student management and admissions systems.

The AIM listed company also indicated that this, on top of its trading performance, mean its board is “increasingly positive” about delivering full year results ahead of current market expectations.

“The first half of FY25 has been defined by solid trading and strong progress in our transformation into a full-service, SaaS-business, delivering across all our strategic objectives,” said Tribal chief executive, Mark Pickett.

“Tribal has entered the second half with a robust foundation of ARR, long-term customer relationships and clear momentum in our journey towards becoming a pure-play education tech SaaS company.”
