Southern Gas Networks (SGN) has announced the appointment of Tony King as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

He is set to join SGN, which manages natural and green gas distribution networks in Scotland as well in the South of England, on Monday 2 December 2024.

King has 30 years of experience in C-suite roles in industries including transportation, construction, energy and manufacturing.

He has previously been a group finance director at Transport for London during the pandemic and more recently a CFO at housebuilding firm Thakeham Group, where he oversaw the company’s growth and strategic direction.
