GlobalData has acquired research and advisory firm, Celent, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition furthers the data, analytics and insights platform’s M&A strategy, as it looks to reach its target of £500m in annual revenue by the end of a three-year growth plan.
Celent, which is part of Marsh McLennan’s Oliver Wyman Group, has served technology and strategy leaders in the financial services market for over 20 years make “faster and more informed decisions” around their technology strategies.
GlobalData said the acquisition will bring the respective firms’ "collective expertise and talent" together to create "even more value" for existing customers as well as new opportunities to serve new customers.
Chief executive officer at GlobalData, Mike Danson, said: "The acquisition of Celent represents a further complimentary acquisition, which is aligned closely to our bolt-on philosophy.
