Crossword Cybersecurity appoints part-time head of finance

Anthony Clayden has been appointed as part-time head of finance at Crossword Cybersecurity, replacing the firm’s former chief financial officer (CFO), Rose Clark, who stepped down from the role earlier this month.

The firm, which provides solutions focused on cyber strategy and risk, said that Clayden, of Strategic Finance Director, started in the position on 29 August, but will not join the board or become a director at the company.

His experience includes over 14 years in various roles at AIM-quoted companies, including CFO, head of finance and company secretary.

The firm said it will continue to “review and explore its options regarding the longer-term CFO position” and any announcement in this regard will be made at the “appropriate time”.

Chief executive officer at Crossword Cybersecurity, Stuart Jubb, said: "We are pleased to announce the addition of Anthony to the senior management team with his extensive AIM and financial experience to help Crossword through the next stage of its journey."
