Katherine Jones has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) at Brooks Macdonald.
She also joins the wealth management firm as an executive director, effectively from 1 November 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
Jones replaces Andrea Montague, who joined the firm as CFO in August 2023 and is currently serving as chief executive officer (CEO) designate.
The firm said that Jones brings "extensive experience" in financial services and a "strong track record" of leadership and driving financial performance.
She joins the firm from Phoenix Group Holdings, where she served as group finance director. Prior to this, she held senior finance roles at Prudential and Just Group.
Jones, who started her career at KPMG, is also a chartered accountant.
Montague said: "I am delighted to welcome Jones to Brooks Macdonald. She is an excellent appointment for the group and will be pivotal in helping to execute our strategy to reignite growth through delivering excellent client service, broadening, and deepening our client reach and driving scale and efficiencies."
Jones added: "Brooks Macdonald is a fantastic business with ambitious growth plans. I am thrilled to be joining at this exciting time and look forward to working with Andrea and all the team to deliver against the company's redefined strategy announced today and seek to create further value for shareholders and other stakeholders."
