ATG appoints new CFO

Auction Technology Group (ATG) has appointed Sarah Highfield as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

She is set to succeed Tom Hargreaves, who is stepping down to take up a new position with a private equity-backed company.

Highfield brings more than 15 years of experience to the role having worked as CFO, chief executive and in other senior financial leadership roles at Elvie, Costa Coffee, Tesco and most recently Away Resorts.

She is currently audit and risk committee chair at Coats Group and previously served as audit committee chair at Seraphine Group through 2023.

ATG said Highfield’s start date is yet to be decided and would be announced to the market "in due course".

Chief executive officer at ATG, John-Paul Savant, said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to welcome Highfield to ATG. We are delighted that she will be joining us. She has extensive financial leadership experience working for high quality companies with a focus on both growth and rigorous cost efficiency.

“We look forward to Highfield playing a prominent role as director and as part of the ATG leadership team as we drive our business to the next stage of growth and lead the transformation of the industry. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Hargreaves again for his leadership and contributions to ATG through private and public company ownership periods."
