Lords Group has announced that Stuart Kilpatrick will join the firm’s board as chief financial officer (CFO) and a director of the company.

Starting from 4 June, he will replace the group’s currently CFO and chief operating officer, Chris Day, who will leave the UK building materials distributor on 17 May, following the publication of its 2023 financial year results two days prior.

Lords was established over 35 years ago as a family business and has grown to a firm which operates from 48 sites, trading on AIM since July 2021.

In a statement, Lords said: "In the short interim period between Day's departure and Kilpatrick's arrival, the group is well supported by its strong, well-established finance team who will ensure a smooth transition for the business."
